I don’t want to invalidate your feelings of being unhappy in your body. We’ve all been there. But I’m trying to understand this piece. I’m not sure the relevancy of your 400 lb aunt when being positioned against your 165 lb postpartum body. That is known in psychotherapy as catastrophizing!

As a nutritionist dietitian and exercise scientist, I can point blank tell you 165lb at 5”4 postpartum is completely normal.

This article is quite out of touch IMO.
