There is nothing worse than clicking on an article and seeing a jail cell of words. Words, jammed together, claustrophobic, suffocating. And that’s how I feel as a writer, imagine how the Average Joe feels. Truly, like they’re in a jail cell.

In the seven years that I’ve been a writer, one of the simplest and most effective tools I’ve learned is “chunking.”

Chunking content is like adding windows and doors to a jail cell, allowing light and fresh air to flow in and making the space feel more open and welcoming.

What is Chunking?

Chunking is a technique used in content writing to break up information into smaller, more easily digestible “chunks” or sections. This can make the content more visually appealing and easier for readers to scan and understand.

Think of it like breaking up a long paragraph into smaller, bite-sized pieces. Rather than overwhelming your reader with a wall of text, you can break up your content into smaller paragraphs or use headings and subheadings to organize the information.
